Featured Seller: Poppycock Vintage
The only thing we here at This Week’s Look adore more than vintage hats is a vintage hat sale. Poppycock Vintage on etsy is currently testing our post-holiday spending willpower with a fantastic sale through December 31. They have an incredible selection of vintage chapeaux, so reasonably priced, we may have no choice but to pawn all of the Christmas presents we received in order to buy them all.
This week, we have assembled for you a selection of our favorites from Poppycock’s etsy storefront, all on sale right now. Click on each image below to see the individual listing, and follow Poppycock on Facebook for regular sale announcements.

Have a Cowl
Scarves are great, but sometimes a girl (or a guy) needs a cowl. Although, when men wear them I think they’re called gaiters.
Whatever you call them, I prefer tightly crocheted or knitted neck warmers with functional buttons because they offer more flexibility; you can go for a prim buttoned up look, a partially buttoned open collar look, or let it hang loosely down your shoulders like a capelet. Most cowls are also easy to stash in your purse or bag when not in use (depending on the size of your bag that is). One more thing, if you’re the fashionable type, definitely stay away from fleece cowls. Unless you’re going for that extreme camping look.
The absolute best place to find original, handmade cowls is etsy of course. Below are some of my favorites (there’s even one for dogs). Click on each image to see the listing.

Vintage Tall Boots in Larger Sizes
For my sister, who has humongoloid feet (just kidding, just kidding), today we are featuring vintage (and new but vintage-y) knee-high boots in larger sizes for women. I wear size 8.5 to 9, so I tend to look for vintage shoes that measure about 10.25 to 10.50 inches from heel to toe and about 3.25 inches across. The boots listed here today are size 9.5 and larger. As vintage sizing can vary dramatically from modern sizing, don’t go by the size marked, look at the actual measurements. Click on each image below to see the full listing.
My sister’s feet, pictured above left. Look at them. Just look at them. Also, that’s my niece Devyn in the middle and me on the right.
