How to Spend It
This unexpected discovery is one of the reasons we love The Financial Times “How to Spend It” special issue. Designed for Marios Schwab‘s 2013 resort collection, this vintage-inspired swimsuit is made from terry cloth or “toweling” fabric with high-waist bottoms, sort of reminiscent of the 1950s, particularly when paired with the matching jacket cover-up (second photo below). I recently discovered lingerie by I.D. Sarrieri and am in love nearly every piece in the collection. There’s some retro pinup styles but without being too kitschy. There are some nice classics too.
