How to Spend It
This unexpected discovery is one of the reasons we love The Financial Times “How to Spend It” special issue. Designed for Marios Schwab‘s 2013 resort collection, this vintage-inspired swimsuit is made from terry cloth or “toweling” fabric with high-waist bottoms, sort of reminiscent of the 1950s, particularly when paired with the matching jacket cover-up (second photo below). Egyptian Revival
Earlier this year, after a violent revolution that lasted 18 days, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak finally stepped down, ending three decades of mostly unchallenged rule.
