This Week's Look

Off to the Laces

I don’t know much about royalty or Kate Middleton or what a queen consort-to-be does in her free time, but I know a knockout dress when I see one. Ever since the Duchess of Cambridge appeared this summer in a blue lace dress by Erdem, copycats have popped up all over the Internet.

I love the simplicity of the dress with its bateau neckline and half sleeves, it feels very vintage 1960s. There are many ways you can work a lace dress into your rotation this season without looking like a fad-chasing Kate wannabe. We found a number of timeless, vintage pieces on etsy and eBay this week.
